Vegan Shampoo

Because it is environmentally friendly there is no plastic dispenser. Unfortunately I either get too little or too much when I try to get the product out of the container. I have the travel size. I really like the scent, and how my hair feels. But, I can’t see purchasing the large containers because of the issue mentioned.

I want to love this, but unfortunately after about a month of use it still leaves my hair feeling like it has oil or residue on it and I find I need to wash more often (like every other day instead of every 3-4). I have very fine, thin straight hair and it stays kind of weighed down without volume and appears greasy at the roots within a day. My scalp feels good and doesn't get itchy, which is the best benefit. The conditioner I love, but find I need a shampoo that provides more volume for my hair.

After trying so many different types of natural shampoos, none of them compare to this one. The health of my scalp has improved, and I don't have to wash my hair as often, which has historically been a major cause of damage to my hair. Remember to add a tiny bit of water and lather in your hands before applying to your hair! Highly recommend !

What? No suds? Okay, I'll give it a try. Pretty weird though.
Next thing you know I'm loving it. Just keep rubbing it in and around.
My hair feels organic and fuller and I don't feel the need to wash it as often.

I don't write many product reviews, but I had to do one for this! I have been looking for the right Shampoo forever to use on my oily, sensitive scalp. My hair is aging and getting more fine and the ends get dull and dry. This shampoo has given my hair its life back. The cooling effect calms my scalp and makes me look forward to washing my hair! Thanks so much for making this!

I love this shampoo! It’s the best ever! No more dry flakiness around my hairline and my scalp and hair is so clean. I don’t have to wash my hair as often! I wash it about every 4-5 days. I love love love this product! Thank you Peak Scents!

I have experienced itchy, dry scalp since I was a teenager (I'm now 48). I have tried a million different shampoos, I don't color my hair, and I usually opt for the most natural of skin and hair care products. In the last couple of years I'm doing my best not to bring plastic in my house for environmental reasons, but I've been on a prescription medicated shampoo for years that of course comes in a plastic bottle. I have patches of psoriasis on my scalp which is not cured by the shampoo but just keeps the itching tolerable. I have tried bar shampoos with seemingly natural ingredients but they make my scalp itch even worse than liquid shampoos.
I was shopping at my food coop the other day and as I was standing in line I glanced over to a basket that had your shampoo in it. It was an impulse purchase because I liked that it was in an aluminum bottle and hoped there might be a way to return it to the company for reuse (rather than recycling which, let's face it, is not an answer to our refuse problem.) Anyway, I got it home and have used it twice. I can't believe it but not only does my hair feel amazing but I haven't been scratching my scalp!! (and the scent of the shampoo is WONDERFUL!)
Truth be told, I thought the shampoo would have a lot LESS lather than it does so I'm very pleased.
Now...can you find a way for us to return the bottles to you for reuse or to refill??

I have long hair.
I have tried so many different products, but eventually the build up and drying factors leave me disappointed.
NOT WITH THIS!
At first, I thought that I got the shampoo and rinse mixed up because there was no lather. Now, I don't worry about that.
All of the ingredients present with the purpose intended.
1. No build up
2. No during
3. No damage to the shafts or ends
4. The feeling of the product on the scalp is so pleasing.
5. I HAVE HIGHLIGHTS AGAIN!
6. My daughter's stylist asked ME for my secret.
7. The grey is less and no longer yellowish.
8. It doesn't tangle
9. It doesn't get all static-y (spelling?)
10. It is fuller.
11. My scalp doesn't itch.
I love it!
I want to share with others, but I don't want to offend . . . I'll just wait until a few more people ask and then get gifts.

I've been using Peak Scent's Nourishing Shampoo for a few weeks. Trusting fully in other Peack Scents's products, I followed the directions and was super curious how I'd feel about a shampoo that doesn't lather. I'm here to tell you, I feel just fine about it. My hair has never felt cleaner and more healthy without feeling stripped or dry at all! I live in the desert, but still tend to have an oily scalp with dry, easily breakable hair. Literally, no more. My hair feels and looks great, even without styling it and just letting it air dry. Living in Arizona, this is something I've never been able to do. Always needed tons of product and some kind of heat to style and tame. My natural oils seem to distribute themselves evenly and my hair seems to stay "clean' looking longer. I only use the shampoo once or twice a week and the conditioner every time I shower. Highly recommend this product! It really is different than anything I've ever used, and being someone who is not cheap about what I put on my hair and skin, I can tell you I've paid a lot more for product that didn't do anything the Nourishing products have done for me. I have been using Peak Scents products for 17 years. This new shampoo and conditioner is wonderful. It gives my hair lots of body and shine, and does not weigh it down. I have searched for an all natural shampoo and conditioner for years, and have finally found something that works, that I love!! I have fine/ thin hair, and this shampoo adds body to my hair, reduces fly-away hairs and static. With this shampoo I don't have to wash my hair as often...it stays looking, and feeling clean far longer than my old shampoo.
